Luka Kramarić recently participated in a short-term research stay at the Group of Robotics, Vision, and Control (GRVC) Lab at the University of Seville. During this stay, Kramarić conducted experiments exploring UWB-based localization for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Specifically, he worked with a Crazyflie 2.1 nano-UAV equipped with a DWM1000 UWB module, utilizing a set of fixed UWB anchors and the two-way ranging (TWR) protocol to measure distances and estimate the UAV's position in real time.
The research focused on evaluating how different factors, such as anchor placement, elevation, and angle, influenced ranging accuracy.
