Sanja Fosin, Project Manager from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the University of Zagreb (Croatia), recently completed a successful short study visit to the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA). The visit, held in person, focused on fostering collaboration within the AeroSTREAM project, alongside other initiatives.
The visit began with a welcome session, where Sanja was introduced to CTA's facilities, team members, and core institutional values. Silvia de los Santos Trigo, Aerospace and Production Technical Officer at CTA, delivered a general presentation about CTA's innovation-driven role in Andalusia, sparking discussions on potential partnerships with similar organizations in Croatia.
Sanja also presented an overview of the University of Zagreb and its Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, highlighting its educational and research strengths. This led to insightful exchanges on project experiences, particularly in Horizon Europe and Interreg frameworks.
Further activities included preparations for the Aerospace Defence Meeting, where both teams coordinated logistics and familiarized themselves with key participants. CTA's Maria Jimenez Portaz later showcased European projects, especially those relevant to aerospace, such as the "In Transit" project, designed to strengthen SME resilience.
The visit concluded with a collaborative session on EU project financial management, where both parties shared tools and best practices to streamline administrative processes. The exchange paved the way for stronger cooperation between CTA and the University of Zagreb in future European projects.
