Sarajevo, March 27, 2024 – The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo recently highlighted its research in autonomous aerial vehicles and robotics. The event featured presentations by Prof. Jasmin Velagić and research assistant Tarik Pozderac.
Federal Television aired a nine-minute segment on the faculty’s cutting-edge laboratories as part of the popular show “Svako dobro.” Prof. Velagić discussed the AeroSTREAM project, emphasizing its role in enhancing research capacities and showcasing various UAV applications in sectors like agriculture and disaster management.
Pozderac presented additional autonomous systems, including ground vehicle robots, underscoring their potential to revolutionize industries. With Federal Television's extensive reach, the event aimed to engage and inspire younger generations in science and technology.
