UNIZG-FER Showcases Cutting-Edge...

Abu Dhabi, UAE – January 27-29, 2024 – The University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER) participated in the prestigious UMEX 2024 (Unmanned System Exhibition and Conference) in Abu Dhabi, showcasing its advanced research and development in aerial robotics. The event, held from January 27th to 29th, also coincided with the MBZIRC (Mohamed Bin Zayed International Robotics Challenge), where the UNIZG-FER team actively competed.

UMEX 2024, a leading global platform for unmanned systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence, brought together innovators from around the world. At their dedicated booth, the UNIZG-FER team, led by Goran Vasiljević, presented a variety of groundbreaking applications in aerial robotics. These innovations underscored the university's commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in fields such as drone-based surveillance, precision agriculture, search-and-rescue operations, and autonomous navigation.
