XV. Mathematical Gymnasium, known as MIOC, stands as one of the most prominent and successful mathematical gymnasiums in Zagreb. Annually, they host the "Day of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture" at their institution. The primary objective of this event is to bring together representatives, professors, assistants, and students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture to showcase new ideas in mechanical engineering and study programs. Their aim is to pique the interest of MIOC students, who are former students of this esteemed institution, and encourage them to consider enrolling at the Faculty.

As part of this special day at MIOC, Assistant Professor Petar Piljek from UNIZG-FSB introduced the audience to commercial unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and prototypes that resulted from the dedicated research activities of the team specializing in multirotor UAVs.

This event serves as an excellent opportunity for the Faculty to engage with the next generation of potential students. It provides a platform for showcasing innovations and research, making the academic field of mechanical engineering and naval architecture more accessible and appealing to young minds.
